Commanding Your Morning devotion 17/05/2024
Scripture:
“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” – 1 Peter 2:9 (NIV)
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, Thank you for choosing us and consecrating us as your own.
As a royal priesthood and holy nation, empower us to live lives that declare your praises. Fill us with your Spirit, that we may shine brightly as beacons of your wonderful light in a dark world.
Help us to walk in the fullness of our identity in Christ, reflecting your holiness and love to those around us. May our lives bring glory to your name and draw others into relationship with you.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
