Commanding Your Morning devotion 18/05/2024
Scripture:
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.” – Hebrews 12:1 (NIV)
Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
As we stand amidst the witnesses of faith who have gone before us, we surrender our lives to your purpose. Grant us the strength to cast off the weights and sins that hinder us, so we may run the race you have set before us with endurance.
Fill us with your Spirit, that we may walk in consecration and perseverance, always seeking to honor you in all we do. Guide our steps, O Lord, as we strive to live lives fully dedicated to your service and glory.
In Jesus’ name, we pray.
