Commanding Your Morning devotion 27/04/2024
Scripture:
Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV) – “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Explanation:
Paul encourages believers to bring their worries and concerns to God in prayer, accompanied by thanksgiving.
By doing so, they experience the peace of God that transcends human
understanding, guarding their hearts and minds. Prayer is depicted as the pathway to finding divine peace amid life’s challenges.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
We come before You with gratitude, laying our worries and requests at Your feet. Grant us the peace that surpasses all understanding as we lift our hearts to You in prayer.
May Your presence guard our hearts and minds, filling us with assurance and hope in Christ Jesus. In His name,
Amen
